What we really think about Dry January and Tournée Minérale

It’s hard to miss the increasing fuss around the ‘dry months’ of January and February. We mostly support these initiatives. No surprise there, right? But should you really quit alcohol for a whole month? 🤔 We don’t necessarily think so.


At Thrive, we’re all about a healthy and active lifestyle. But we’re also about having fun. And we understand there are occasions where alcoholic beverages have a place for many of us. So by all means, grab that gin-tonic if you feel like it (but maybe not right after sports 😅).


We believe in making conscious choices. Picking your battles. Like how not every bike ride needs to be a race, not every social event needs alcohol. However great the urge might be on both occasions 😉

And this is why we support these dry initiatives. It makes you think about your consumption habits and shows you that a life with less alcohol doesn’t need to be boring.


On the contrary, you’ll feel as fresh and motivated as possible to tackle your next challenge, be it in sports or just life in general 🚀
